David Bershad, Standly Zabar Attend Hunter Art Opening

Hunter College was recently thrilled to launch their new arts space at 205 Hudson Street. In attendance at the opening were many donors like David Bershad who has endowed a professorship in Hunter’s department of art history with a grant of over $1 million.
Since opening their first exhibition in 1984, the Hunter College Art Galleries have had over 200 shows organized by faculty, staff, alumni of the MA and MFA programs and visiting curators.
On Monday, November 25th, 2013, they were thrilled to open their new art space with many donors and important contributors in attendance. Those in attendance included: Stanley Zabar, Judy Zabar, Andrew Polsky, Vita Rabinowitz (Provost, Hunter College), Susan Bershad, Howard Michael Singerman (Chair, Hunter Art & History Dept), Jennifer J. Raab (President, Hunter College) and David Bershad.
The new space offers the college ample room to continue displaying exhibitions with a wide range of interests and diversity of the faculty and student body.
