Miami’s Bayfront Park is getting ready to host a new Miami Art+Design (MA+D) Fair on President’s Day weekend. The event is organized by IFAE in collaboration with the French SNA, and will be held in a new waterside pavilion “in the round.”
According to SNA President Christian Deydier, the galleries will showcase the best of American and European art and design.
“The fair will be especially attractive to collectors, architects, and designers from throughout the United States and Latin America,” he explained. “Miami is a vibrant, exciting city that has become a major cultural meeting point for the Americas.”
The event will feature several international galleries, including Galerie Alain Marcelpoil, Galerie Dumonteil and Galerie Jacques Bailly from Paris, Galerie Vallois from Paris and New York, AANW from Miami, Moretti Fine Art from Florence, London and NY, Phoenix Ancient Art from New York, Richard Green from London and many others.
IFAE and a committee of SNA members will manage the fair. An opening night preview will be held on February 13th to benefit the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum.
