This year, the Art on the Bay organizers are expecting a fantastic turn out for the fine art and crafts show in downtown New Baltimore, Mississippi. This will be the sixth annual event and it will take place on Labor Day weekend in Walter and Mary Burke Park on the shores of Anchor Bay. Everything will be on display from paintings and drawings to woodwork and jewelry.
As president of the Art on the Bay Committee Susan Burkhardt said, “The art is definitely the highlight. We have artists from all over the state as well as a few neighboring states.”
The event this year will include some new faces and new foods. On September 5th from 1-4pm, Bernadette Kathryn, a classically trained Nashville recording artist will entertain the crowd. The Art Walk will also return for the second year in a row. The 1.5 mile walk will go through downtown New Baltimore starting at 9:15 am on September 5th.
More than 10,000 people attend the event each year and it’s well worth the time.
